There will be a coffee morning next Thursday 5th September for all Junior Infant parents. Come along for a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit. Have a chat with other Junior Infant parents and with Mrs Smith. 9.10am until 10 am in the Y-Pod.

Welcome Back!
Welcome back to all pupils and parents! Well done to all the Junior Infant children who are settling in really well. Watch this space for new photos next week!!
School will close early on Friday 6th September for a staff meeting.
Junior Infants will finish at 12 noon.
All other classes will finish at 12.10.
Prize Giving Ceremony
Today was our last day before the summer holidays.
There were lots of prizes and medals to give out.
Father Bernard presented Megan Sherlock with the ‘Pupil Of The Year’ medal.
Sports Day medals were awarded to the first, second and third teams.
Football trophies were given to the winning team.
Certificates were given to 5th and 6th classes.
Gold medals were given out for 100% attendance.
Finally, we had to say goodbye to two members of staff. Miss Fallon is leaving us after one year and Miss Doherty is leaving us after 13 years. We wish both the very best of luck in their new schools.
Teddy Bears’ Picnic
Fifth Class, Sixth Class, Junior Infants and Senior Infants took their teddy bears on a picnic to St Stephen’s Green!
Sports’ Day
Last Friday was sports’ day and luckily the rain stayed away! Many thanks to everyone who came to support and cheer on the children.
Mini Music
Junior Infants enjoy ‘Mini Music’ every Wednesday.
