We have set up a green flag committee with 10 children from 2nd class, 3rd class, 4th class, 5th class and 6th class. We are working towards getting our first green flag for the school. The flag looks at litter and waste. We are trying to reduce the litter and waste that we produce every day. Also, we are trying to recycle more.
Last Thursday was World Book Day. Many different classes went over to Easons in Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre to swap their tokens for free books.

Junior Infants have been writing about making a cup of tea.
Senior Infants have been writing about making a fruit salad.
Second class have been writing about making sandwiches.
First Class made lemonade.
Fourth Class have been writing about the game of hopscotch.
The children were interviewed for “Newstalk” radio. Henry gave them some toys to play with and then asked the children what they thought about them.
A storyteller came to talk to 1st and 2nd classes.
First Class went to Milano in Temple Bar to make pizzas. Everyone made their own pizza to bring back to school and eat.
First Class built rockets!
They also had great fun doing ‘Solve My Problem’!
